NICK PERR
Los Angeles painter Nick Perr explores the relationships between collections, locations, care, and neglect in his art. His unique approach involves selecting subjects carefully and making viewers contemplate their own relationships to objects and places. Nick’s passion for art began in childhood, and his work has gained global recognition and been featured in galleries across the United States, Europe, and Asia. Through our film, we showcase his special connection to Los Angeles and hope to inspire viewers to appreciate the beauty in ordinary objects and locations. The Studio Worldwide
The Studio Worldwide approached us to capture artists’ stories, aiming to democratize the art world. We pioneered their video storytelling on the platform, featuring 10 artists from across the world. Through September, The Studio launched an artist every Sunday via short films, breaking the mold of conventional art galleries. The launch parties, in partnership with Soho House, were held in the artists’ respective cities.
TOBY KAMMERER
Meet Toby Kammerer, a Miami-based sculptor and designer. Toby’s childhood journey from Texas to Egypt to Anguilla, before settling in Miami, inspired his work. He showcases Miami’s overlooked side, with a focus on streetwear, natural beauty, and cultural heritage. Toby’s work is derived from his daily experiences, capturing the city’s lush greenery and Cuban coffee – Miami’s city staples. ROSCOÈ B. THICKÉ III
After graduating from Miami Norland Senior High School, Roscoè B. Thické III traveled the world to find his voice and to serve his country. These travels took him to diverse lands such as Jordan, Iraq and South Korea. While traveling, Roscoè studied photography at every turn. The service to his country combined with personal experiences allowed Roscoè to see the world through his own distorted yet divine point of view. It was an honor to screen the film alongside an artist talk Soho House Miami for the release of Roscoè’s collection, titled “1402 Pork N Bean Blue | At The Intersection of Two Deaths”.
